Saucy Country Style Ribs

Saucy Country Style Ribs

  • 3 lbs. La Cense Country Style Ribs
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 cup cider or red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup liquid smoke
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 quart water

Combine dry seasonings and rub over ribs. Place in container or plastic bag and marinate overnight. Prepare sauce by mixing all remaining ingredients in a large sauce pan. Bring the sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for seven minutes. Bring charcoal to high temperature, using well-soaked hickory chops. Grill the ribs, basting frequently with sauce until they reach your desire level of doneness. Because La Cense Country Style Ribs are 100% grass-fed, they are leaner and cook faster than conventional grain-fed meat. Serve extra sauce with the ribs and enjoy!
